We removed the valve cover only to find a mess underneath. The water that we knew was in the oil had corroded the rocker arms with surface rust. I believe they can simply be cleaned, but we are taking the head off with the valves intact to have it looked at. A little disappointing. We also noticed that while removing the exhaust manifold and valve cover, the bolts were not tight on either. Surprised it stayed together.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully once we get the head off we\u2019ll be able to determine if we have a bad gasket or crack in the block.<\/p>\n<p>We were successful in installing the replacement window.
