Project 240

March 25th, 2008 No comments

Well it has been a while since I’ve placed a post about the 240. This past weekend we replaced the front struts and found that the sway bar bushing on one side was missing. We’re going to be replacing the back shocks in the next week or so and will also replace both front sway bar bushings.

More to come.

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

March 21st, 2008 No comments

With rear-wheel drive and your choice of a 306 hp V6 engine or 212 hp turbocharged, inter-cooled engine, the Genesis Coupe is built as much for power and performance as head-turning style. Available Torsen limited-slip differential provides superior traction and handling, and 19-inch wheels and Brembo brakes top off the race-ready driving experience. With an AM/FM/XM/CD audio system, USB/iPod connectivity and Bluetooth you will have all the tech-gadget capabilities anyone would need. A nice feature, Smart Key with push-button start!

For Safety it has 6 air bags including front, side, and side curtain. Electronic stability control, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, active front head restraints and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Friends from childhood – Revisited

March 6th, 2008 No comments

It’s been a while since I last posted in this category. I just received a member update for someone I’ve been trying to reach from school days. Her name is Jere (Sissy) R. The update came from Reunion.com which I have a free membership. I just don’t feel like paying for something I rarely use. Same goes for my classmates.com account.

Anyway Sissy and I had advanced art class together and I really enjoyed her company. Trying to find as many school friends as I can is probably easier if I actually tried. So far I’ve been rather lazy like I am with most things. Reunion.com doesn’t allow you to contact the members unless you pay. I searched classmates.com again and found who I hope is Sissy. Thankfully classmates.com has an option to send the members a note. We’ll see how it turns out.
