I talked to my brother-in-law who just so happens to be the painter working on my car and he said it looks a lot better than he thought it would. All seals seem tight and he should have the paint finished by Monday morning latest. Then to the finish shop to put everything back together. I should have it back by Thursday or Friday of next week. Can’t wait!!! :}
I’ve checked with the Body Shop this morning and all looks good so far. The Body work is almost complete and it is scheduled for the paint shop Wednesday December 3, 2003. I can’t wait to get it back. I miss my HP and Sound System!
The Body shop called me this morning to inform me that the insurance adjuster had inspected my vehicle and that they were going to fix it! I am very happy. My wife and I went out to go over what was going to be done to repair it. They are going to remove the rear cap from the factory welds and replace it with a new rear cap. New/Refurb. The bumper skin they found did not match so we told them they had to make it look exactly as it was. They estimate about 2 and 1/2 weeks to repair maybe 3. That’s fine with me as long as it looks as good as it did before all of this.
I know it sounds lame to complain about pain after it’s been almost a week, but my back has started stiffening up again. I’m going to start the Advil again tonight and see how it goes.
So far so good. My stomach is still a little sore but feels better each day. A strange dot appeared on the bridge of my nose this morning. Weird. I can’t imagine what it could be. It doesn’t hurt or anything and I’m sure I didn’t strike anything with my head. Weird! I contacted the other driver’s insurance office and asked if an adjuster was going to look at my car today. The insurance representative stated that an adjuster had been assigned but they were not aware of the adjuster’s schedule. It could be today or tomorrow.
No additional pain or soreness has occurred today. My stomach muscles are still sore but not bad. Marshall called this afternoon to check on me. My Mom and Grandmother came over to check and make sure I wasn’t telling them a story that I was all right.
